Welcome

HTTrack Online is a free online website copier and easy-to-use offline browser utility, in the spirit of the classic HTTrack desktop software.

It allows you to download a website from the Internet to a ZIP archive, building recursively all directories, getting HTML, images, CSS, JavaScript and other files from the server to your computer. The mirror engine arranges the original site's relative link structure: simply unzip the archive and open a page of the mirrored website in your browser, and you can browse the site from link to link, as if you were viewing it online.

Unlike the desktop website copier, nothing has to be installed: the mirror wizard above runs from any browser, on any operating system. See HTTrack online, HTTrack alternatives or the guide how to download an entire website.

Frequently asked questions

Is HTTrack Online really free?

Yes, the mirror tool is free. You paste a URL, the engine downloads every page and file, rewrites the links and you save the resulting ZIP.

Is this the same as the HTTrack desktop software?

No. HTTrack is a classic open-source desktop copier (and a trademark of its authors); we are not affiliated with it. HTTrack Online is an independent, browser-based service built for modern JavaScript-rendered websites that the desktop tool struggles with.

Which websites can it copy?

Any public website: sites built with Framer, Webflow, Wix, WordPress, Squarespace, Shopify, Notion and more. The engine follows the site's links recursively, downloads the pages plus their CDN-hosted assets and rewrites every URL to relative paths.

Is it legal to download a website?

Copying a site you own, manage or have permission to copy (backups, migration, archiving) is fine. Copying someone else's site to republish it is not. You are responsible for how you use your exports.

How long does an export take?

Most sites finish in under a minute. Large sites with hundreds of assets can take a few minutes; the file list shows every download live, exactly like the classic copier, until the ZIP is ready.

What do I do with the ZIP?

Anything: browse it offline, keep it as a dated backup, or drag it into Cloudflare Pages, Netlify or any static host to put the copy back online.
